Spirit Award 2022
The award is designed to help develop a sense of teamwork in the music therapy clubs in our region and increase public awareness of music therapy outside of our schools. The Spirit Award will be presented during the Spring SER-AMTA Conference. A commemorative plaque and an award of $75.00 will be presented to the winning school.
Notice: A member of the student club executive board, in collaboration with the academic faculty club advisor must complete and submit this form.

To complete the form you will need:
*Music Therapy relevant outlets include any peer reviewed or edited journals (electronic or print publications) or other formal music therapy relevant outlets (e.g., newsletter of the state, the Quodlibet or the university/college newspaper/magazine publications). For each entry please include title, name of outlet, and date of publication.
No YouTube videos; The entry must be written by a music therapy student.

- 40 points for the highest number of service projects
- 30 points for the highest percent of student membership in AMTA
- 13 points for the highest number of student entries (in print and electronic publications) in formal music therapy relevant outlets (e. g, newsletter of the state, the Quodlibet or the university/college newspaper/magazine publications).
- 7 points for the highest number of students in the school MT program who are members of the school club
- 5 points for the highest number attending regional and national conferences
- 5 points for the highest number of student club members presenting at regional or national conferences
To complete the form you will need:
- Name and address of your school
- Name and contact information of the student submitting the application
- Name and contact information of the music therapy club advisor
- Number of music therapy students currently enrolled in your school/program
- Number of music therapy students in your school/program who are members in AMTA
- Number of MT students who are also members of the MT club
- Number of students attending the regional and national conference from last year.
- Number of students presenting at the conferences from last year.
- *Number of student entries formal music therapy outlets.
